Classic Roadsters engineers have invested countless research hours to develop a frame which not only delivers real performance handling, but also allows you to use inexpensive and readily available components to complete your chassis. The result: using a stock Mustang suspension and stock 302 HO with 5-speed. A factory team won the all-industry auto-cross competition in ’91, ’92, ’93 and ’95. Classic Roadsters has always been known for the high quality of our fiberglass. Steel alignment pins in our breakaway molds not only mean minimum parting line distortion, but also minimum body preparation prior to painting. Our bodies also feature turned back edges at the fender wells for increased strength and a solid look. The result is the most beautiful automobile finish possible for the most reasonable cost.

The remaining components of your 427 must also be high-quality and correctly engineered to deliver the fit and finish common to satisfying automobiles. We believe our commitment to quality is visible from the hand stitched pleats in every bucket seat to the usually unnoticed edging which completes your carpet set. Beyond good looks, door openings are larger by nearly six inches, seats are recessed into the frame for four inches more headroom, and leg room has been stretched by five inches. If you could have experience the tiny door opening, cramped quarters, and angled seating of the original Cobra 427s, you would realize that comfort was not a concern in the original models. But we have made it a major concern in the Classic 427 to give you the most comfortable and functional 427 in the business. You too, will appreciate the enhancements of this fine automobile.
